LaserJet CommApp Patch driver for HP LaserJet 1220se Type: Driver This patch addresses communication between the HP printer (HP LaserJet 1220 /­ HP LaserJet 3200M) and the Mac host in both USB and network configurations.­ This software release consists of one file: HP All-in-One Communications.­ To install this software update,­ you must replace the existing version of this file in the System:Startup Items folder with this new version.­ To do so,­ perform the following steps: Power off the LaserJet.­ Shut down all running applications,­ including the Launcher if applicable.­ Any applications in the System:Startup Items folder need to be disabled until step #10 has completed.­ On the Desktop,­ select and open your boot volume.­ This will open a finder window.­ In the Finder window that just opened,­ select and open the System Folder.­ In the System Folder finder window,­ select and open the Startup Items folder.­ Drag the HP All-in-One Communications icon from the Startup Items folder to the Trash.­ Drag the new HP All-in-One Communications icon delivered in this package and place it in the Startup Items folder.­ Shutdown the Mac.­ Power on the LaserJet.­ Power on the Mac.­
